Flikli Platform

The Flikli Platform is a video production tool that handles the communication between clients and the creative teams in different phases of the production process including script, storyboard, animation previews as well as the delivery of the finalized content and any related assets and services.
Work started with the Flikli Platform as an inherited legacy project, which we refactored, structured and expanded beyond improving the already existing features, by designing and implementing new ones.
Here are some if the highlights we are proud of:

Production

As with most Business Applications, the Platofrm was built with a central element in focus. In our case this is the Production, which integrates and manages various stages of the creative workflow, as well as administrative tools.
In other words the Production object functions as a central work hub for an ordered animation.

Volume Deal / Video Credits

This feature provides bulk offers for customers, and can handle multiple Production orders, especially useful for campaigns or recurring content needs by simplifying the purchasing and project managements aspects.

Comments

In order to ensure that all work related communication is directly with its subject, and accesible for all participants, a Comment System was introduced to fulfill these requirements.
The base feature was refactored with uniformity in mind into a complex Comment System that can be plugged in to different parts of the Platform, and was also expanded with Task and Thread features.

Permissions

Due to the nature of Productions having multiple components and stakeholders at different levels, a simple has or doesn't have type of access wasn't enough, a more fine-tuned approach was required.
We introduced a Permission Matrix for the ability to fine-tune access to production objects and actions based on the user's role.

Client Teams

A Client can order multiple Productions and assign projects to different stakeholders for each project.
To facilitate this, we introduced Client Teams feature which manages members of a Client Organization as well as project teams assigned to different Productions.

Task Collections

Task Collection manages contributing artists' offers, contracts, briefs and deliverables on a Production and keeps track of their progress until delivery and payment.
A budgeting feature tied in with the Task Collections allows cost control on a project as well as a global level with integrated UI solutions helping project owners keep track of planned and realized costs.

Budget

We introduced Budget feature for Productions and Volume Deals to integrate all financial information, including invoice and payment records, discounts, workflow conditions which can influence Production progress.
This has been connected to 3rd party financial tools as well to enable automated cross platform invoicing processes.

Assets

As many types of components are used on projects, file operations, these individual solutions were consolidated into a unified asset handling system that allows reference based usage of media assets across the Platform.
